# Acceptable use

The product only works if people can trust who they're talking to. These rules exist to protect that.

## You may only twin yourself

**A hiy represents the person who created it.** Building a twin of someone else — a public figure, a colleague, an ex, anyone — is not allowed, with or without a disclaimer.

The narrow exception is where you are the legitimate voice of the thing: an organisation's own account for that organisation, operated by someone authorised to speak for it.

## Disclosure stays on

Every twin is labelled as AI, on every surface, including embeds. That disclosure is not removable — not on any plan, not for any price. Passing a twin off as a human is a direct violation.

## Also not allowed

- Uploading material you don't have the rights to use.
- Using a twin to harass, defame, deceive, or impersonate.
- Presenting a twin's output as professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
- Trying to extract another creator's source material, or circumvent limits, rate limits, or access controls.
- Building twins for spam, bulk lead-harvesting, or anything you'd be embarrassed to explain.

## Reporting

Every twin page carries a **Report** link, and reports go to a human. If we find a twin impersonating someone or in clear breach, we'll unpublish it and may remove the account.

We'd rather be told early. If you're unsure whether something is allowed, [ask us](mailto:hello@hiy.ai?subject=Acceptable%20use) before you build it.
