# Early Access

The first 100 workspaces get their first month of hiy free. That month is
**Early Access**: 30 days on limits of its own, no card, and then
**Founding Creator** at $49 a month — your Early Access rate, locked for as
long as you stay.

Your twin and a Support or Team Agent can both run on it, and they share **one
pool**: every limit on this page is for the whole workspace, not for each agent.

## Claiming a spot

A spot is claimed with a code, in the claim pop-up. There are two kinds:

| Code | Where it comes from |

| **The public code** | While spots are open, **Claim your spot** on the homepage and the pricing page opens the pop-up with it already filled in. Sign in first if you're asked to; the pop-up is waiting when you're back. On Free, the same offer sits in **Plan and usage** on your Dashboard. |
| **A reserved code** | One we sent you. Type it over the public one. It works even after the public spots have gone — once the banner and card stop showing, **Enter a code** in **Settings → Plan & billing** opens the same pop-up. |

A valid code takes the spot at once. **The clock doesn't start yet**: you stay on
Free until you make your first agent, so setting up never spends your month.

A spot that's claimed and never used may be released, so someone else can have
it.

## How the month runs

1. **Claim** — The spot is yours. Nothing else changes until you make an agent.

2. **Make your first agent** — Any kind — your twin, a Support Agent or a Team Agent — and the 30 days start. If the workspace already had an agent when you claimed, they started at the claim. **Plan and usage** on your Dashboard shows the days left, the exact end, and four meters: training words, conversations, sources and website.

3. **The last week** — We email you once, and a banner on your Dashboard says when chat and training pause and how to carry on.

4. **The end** — The workspace is Paused at the time on your card. Nothing is deleted — see [When Early Access ends](#when-early-access-ends).

## What's included

It includes the chat bubble and the inline embed, and full conversation
insights. The "Powered by hiy.ai" credit stays on, and laid-out answers and
[Connections](/docs/connectors) come with Founding.

What counts:

- **A conversation** is one visitor's chat. After 30 minutes of quiet, their next
  message starts a new one. Your Sandbox and previews never count.
- **Words and sources** are the material your agents answer from. A source used
  by two agents counts once. Anything held back or removed doesn't count.

## At each limit

A full meter stops the next thing, never what you already have.

| **Training words** | New material is refused, with the reason. Everything already trained keeps answering. |
| **Sources** | Adding one is refused. Remove or hold back a source to make room — that is never blocked. |
| **Conversations** | Your agents tell new visitors they can't take a conversation right now, and offer your contact form wherever you collect one. A conversation already under way carries on. |
| **Website** | A page from a second website is refused. YouTube and LinkedIn links aren't websites, so they don't use it. To switch sites, remove the first one. |
| **Agents** | A new agent is refused until you delete one. |
| **Team seats** | A new invitation is refused. |
| **Trains** | Learning pauses until the month turns over, as on every plan — see [Training](/docs/training). |
| **Website re-reads** | The button says when the next one is available — see [Syncing a website](/docs/website-sync#early-access-re-reads). |

When paid plans are open, a full meter also opens the way on: from **Plan and
usage** you can continue on Founding straight away rather than wait for the end.

## When Early Access ends

At the end time on your card the workspace is **Paused**. It never drops to
Free.

### Continuing on Founding

Add a card from **Plan and usage** or **Settings → Plan & billing**. It is
$49 a month, locked for as long as you stay: when Founding's list price
rises to $79, yours doesn't. Founding's limits apply from the day you
add the card, and the Early Access card goes away.

The line under the button says which applies: *Nothing is charged until …* or
*Charged today* — and, while the month is still running, it names the free days
you give up by continuing now.

| You cancel before the first charge | Founding ends on that date with nothing charged, and the workspace is Paused after it. |

### Other reasons it pauses

Paused can arrive before the end too. The card says which it is:

| **Early Access has ended** | Continuing on Founding. |
| **Early Access is paused** | hiy has paused Early Access for your workspace, or for everyone on it. There's nothing you need to do: it lifts when we resume it, or when you continue on Founding. Your end date doesn't move. |
| **This workspace is on hold** | Only hiy lifts a hold — a payment alone won't. [Ask us](mailto:hello@hiy.ai?subject=Early%20Access) about it. |
| **Your first payment didn't go through** | The payment going through. |
