# Install on GoDaddy

Add your snippet to an HTML section on a page. GoDaddy runs it inside a frame, so check it in Preview before you publish.

## Put it on your site

1. **Copy your snippet** — In **Channels**, open **Chat widget**, press **Install** on your agent's row, then **Copy snippet**. **Where to paste** under it shows these steps when you pick GoDaddy from its builder list. ![Where to paste on the Install tab, with GoDaddy chosen and its steps](https://hiy.ai/docs-shots/install/godaddy.webp) *Channels › Chat widget › Install*

2. **Open your site** — In your GoDaddy product page, expand **Websites + Marketing** and select **Manage** next to your site.

3. **Add an HTML section** — On the page where the chat should show, add a section, search for **HTML** and select **Add**.

4. **Paste in Custom Code** — Paste the snippet into **Custom Code**. GoDaddy runs this section inside a frame, so check the chat in Preview before you publish.

5. **Preview and publish** — Changes save by themselves. Use **Preview**, then publish; it goes live when you publish.

**Good to know:**
