# Templates

Templates is your workspace's library of looks, in **Channels › Templates**. **Your brand** comes first, and a saved template carries one form's look to other agents.

## Your brand

Your brand is your workspace's look: colour, type, surface, corner, avatar, portrait and Light or dark. Every form whose **Look from** is Your brand wears it, with that agent's own edits on top. Press **Edit**, change it, then **Publish**. The agents and forms that wear it are listed in the same card. While no colour is published, it offers **Your site's colour**, read from the site you made your first agent from.

## hiy templates

Our own starting look for each form, **hiy default**. **Use** puts it on an agent's form as an unsaved change, so nothing changes until you publish. **Duplicate** makes it a saved template you can edit.

## Saved templates

Each saved template is one form's look, with its **Name**, **Form** and **Used by**. **Edit** opens it in Style, and publishing it updates every agent that uses it. Its menu has **Rename**, **Duplicate** and **Use for new agents**, which gives it to agents you make later for that form; publish it first. To save one, open a form's Style and press **Save as template**.

**Good to know:**

- Templates is part of the new Channels layout, rolling out to workspaces in turn.
- Only an owner or admin can change Your brand and saved templates.
- A template keeps a form's look, layout, welcome display and chat settings. Your agent's words and sources stay on the agent.
