# hiy.ai

> hiy.ai turns an expert's existing content — blog posts, YouTube videos, talks, résumés, notes — into a hosted AI twin at hiy.ai/{username}. The twin answers the creator's audience in the creator's own voice, cites the exact source passage behind every grounded answer, and says "I don't know" instead of guessing when a question falls outside the creator's content.

## What makes hiy different

- Passage-level citations: every grounded answer can reveal the exact passage of the creator's real content it came from. Citations are a default, never a paid add-on.
- Honest by default: when the twin's knowledge doesn't cover a question, it says so, in the creator's tone. Refusing to guess is a designed feature, and the unanswered question goes to the creator to answer once — that answer then teaches the twin permanently.
- Voice fidelity: a short personality interview plus the creator's writing style shape how answers are phrased, so the twin sounds like the person, not a generic assistant.
- Creator control: creators can read everything their twin knows, correct anything it says (corrections override all other content), set off-limits topics, unpublish anytime, and export or delete all their data.
- Clearly labeled AI: every twin page discloses that it is an AI, that it may make mistakes, and that the creator may read the conversation.
- Identity enforced: you may only twin yourself, or a product you own. Public twins are identity-reviewed before they are reachable, and every page carries a report link.
- Outcomes, not vanity: creators see which questions produced leads, which links visitors clicked out of answers (booking links called out), and which sources their answers lean on.

## Who it's for

Coaches, consultants, founders, educators, and experts who receive the same questions repeatedly and want their audience answered accurately — with their real positions, cited — even when they're unavailable. Support twins (for products, answering from docs with instant human handoff) and team twins (invite-only internal knowledge) exist in early access.

## How it works

1. Feed: paste links, sync a blog, import a YouTube channel, upload PDFs, or paste text.
2. Learn: hiy builds a cited knowledge base and a voice profile from the material.
3. Publish: the creator reviews privately, then publishes hiy.ai/{their-name}; an embeddable widget puts the twin on their own site.
4. Improve: honest gaps queue for the creator; one answer closes each gap permanently.

Two plans. Free: a real published twin with 300 visitor messages a month, citations and honest gaps always included. Founding Creator ($49/month founding rate): 2,000 messages a month, 500k training words, unbranded embeds, full conversation insights, lead capture. Honesty features are never paywalled on any plan.

## Policy notes

- One public twin per account; a twin may only represent its creator (or a product they own). Impersonation is removed and reportable from every twin page.
- Visitors chat free; conversations are stored and visible to the twin's creator. Contact details are only requested if the creator enabled it, and always optional.
- Creator content trains that creator's twin alone — never a shared model. No third-party analytics or tracking pixels anywhere on the site.
