If you're talking to a twin
You've landed on someone's hiy. Here's what that means, in plain terms.
It's an AI, and it says so
Every twin is labelled as an AI version of a real person. It's not them, and it can get things wrong. If something matters — money, health, a commitment — check with the person themselves.
It answers from their material
The twin was trained on things that person actually made. When it answers with a citation, you can open it and read the passage it used. When it says it doesn't know, that's honest: their material doesn't cover it, and it isn't going to invent something to fill the space.
If you ask something it can't answer, the question is passed to the creator. Asking is useful.
What happens to what you type
- Your conversation is stored and visible to the creator, so they can see what people ask and improve the twin. Don't share anything you wouldn't put in an email to them.
- Refreshing won't lose your place. The conversation stays put in that browser tab. Close the tab and it's gone from your side — so if you're on a shared or borrowed device, the next person can't scroll back through what you asked.
- Contact details are only asked for if the creator turned that on, it's always optional, and the card can be dismissed without ending the conversation. If you do leave them, they go to that creator so they can reply — not to a marketing list.
- We don't sell your data, and a creator's content trains only their own twin, never a shared model.
If something's wrong
Every twin page has a Report link. Use it if a twin impersonates someone without permission, or is being used abusively. Twins are only allowed to represent the person who made them, and we review every report.
