Create a restricted key in Stripe
On the API keys page of the Stripe Dashboard, create a restricted key that can read customers and subscriptions. Stripe’s guide shows how. Copy it, because Stripe shows it once.
Paste the key
Press Connect Stripe in Integrations and paste it into Secret key. hiy checks it before it saves.
Add the lookup to an agent
In an agent’s Actions, start from the Stripe subscription status template, then add your endpoint, press Try and tick the fields it may read.
Tip
A restricted key limits what a leaked key could do, so prefer it to your full secret key.
Good to know
- hiy checks the connection once a day. If Stripe stops accepting it, owners and admins get one email.
- Reconnect keeps your actions.
