Team roles
Everyone you invite is a Member, and you can make someone an Admin. Roles are rolling out to workspaces in turn.
What each role can do
| Owner | Admin | Member | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Read and reply in the Inbox | Every agent | Every agent | The agents you pick |
| Handover emails | Yes | Yes, and each can switch them off | When a handover is assigned to them |
| Invite and remove people | Anyone but themselves | Members and pending invites | No |
| Change roles | Yes | No | No |
| Make someone the owner | Yes | No | No |
| Plan and billing | Yes | No | No |
| Delete an agent | Yes | No | No |
Each workspace has one Owner. Nobody can remove themselves, and the Owner can’t be removed or changed to another role until someone else is made the owner.
Change a role
Under Team. Each person who has signed in shows their role.
Pick Admin or Member. It saves as you pick. An Admin opens every agent. Someone you make a Member again keeps every agent until you press Limit.
Only the Owner changes roles. An Admin sees the list and can invite people and remove Members. Making an Admin a Member, or removing anyone, also ends the API keys they created.
Make someone the owner
Only an Admin can become the owner. See above.
It asks you to confirm, and says you become an admin. Press Make owner.
For safety, handing a workspace over needs a sign-in within the last ten minutes. Press Sign in again, then try once more.
You become an Admin of the workspace and get a new, empty workspace of your own. The new Owner holds the plan, the billing and the agents.
Good to know
- Sign in again first: you need to have signed in within the last ten minutes.
- They must already be an Admin.
- A public twin in the workspace stops it. Delete the public twin first.
- A billing account, or anything the new owner already has in a workspace of their own, also stop it. Talk to us and we’ll move it with you.
